  • We are setting a new standard for American hostels, and spoiler: it’s awesome. Hostels must carry an average 4-star or above rating on Hostelworld, Booking.com, or TripAdvisor to be listed.

While OTA booking sites traditionally focus on hostels outside of the USA, it’s our goal to change the stereotype around American hosteling, and creating our own platform to promote direct bookings for USA hostels. The Hostel Collective was created by USA hostel owners and managers for USA hostel owners and managers.

  • We’d be sad, of course, but you can. We do ask that all hostels commit to one year before cancelling. After a year, if you’re not happy, we will cancel your membership.

  • Yes, of course! You always have a direct line of communication with us, and once we set up your listing, you can request updates at any time!

  • Let’s change that! If you need branding services, like photos, copywriting, or hostel marketing tools, please email us!
