Started in 2018 in humble Colorado, then expanding its connections nationwide, The Gatherings is an annual conference for USA hostel owners and managers to connect, share and grow together, addressing issues and challenges unique to the hostel industry, and ensuring that we carry the torch of American hosteling well and keep proving that hostels are more fun!

The gathering is usually held in the off-season during the week, and is a 3-day schedule.

FAQ’s

  • Yes! Partner and host hostels offer a 20% off any accommodation deal during the Gathering.

  • During the conference, most meals are provided! A grazing cocktail hour the first night will be followed with Wednesday breakfast and lunch, and Thursday breakfast will be provided as well as lots of snacks and drinks in between!

    Wednesday night will have a group dinner at a local restaurant where attendees will pay for their own meal.

  • If you need childcare, please email hello@thehostelcollective.com so we can arrange this! We would love for you to join with your kiddos.
